Sydney has completed her Masters of Science in Forensic Psychology at Ontario Tech University under the supervision of Dr. Lindsay Malloy, and she is now continuing onto PhD. Her research area focuses on understanding investigative interview methods and protocols for youth, focusing on adolescents, to uncover how adolescents engage with the interview process, as well as perceive the interview process. Her goal is to help work towards finding methods to determine best interviewing methods for adolescents. PsychED is close to Sydney's heart as she is passionate about making psychology accessible and showing students how psychology is more than just "common sense," but a real science! She loves being able to give back and share what she loves through connecting with students, seeing the spark of interest in youths' eyes, and mentoring them through the process of pursuing their love of psychology.
