Sharuya Mathavan

Sharuya Mathavan is a fourth-year General Psychology student at Ontario Tech University with a strong interest in developmental and child psychology. Her research focuses on areas such as adolescence worries and social media use during key developmental stages. Sharuya is passionate about her work with PsychED, where she helps make psychological education more accessible and engaging for youth. She enjoys demonstrating that psychology is a real science, far beyond just "common sense," and loves that PsychED allows her to combine her passions for teaching and youth engagement.
