What We Do:
At PsychED, our mission is to highlight psychology as a STEM discipline and aim to make it accessible and engaging, especially for underrepresented youth. We do this by:
Interactive   Workshops

Delivering interactive workshops on topics, such as forensic and cognitive psychology at high schools and youth centres.
Experiential Learning Day

Conducting Psychological Experiential Learning Days at Ontario Tech, where students can utilize lab equipment, such as EEG and BIOPAC MP160 system, attend lectures, and engage with professors.
Resources and Mentorship

​Offering online resources and mentorship opportunities for students and educators to make STEM education more accessible.
PsychED's Objectives:
  1. Promote psychological science as a STEM discipline
  2. Deliver interactive, hands-on learning experiences
  3. Inspire interest in psychology through school and community outreach
  4. Develop EDI (Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) focused resources for educators and students
  5. Support underrepresented youth in pursuing psychology careers
